My friend father purchase an agricultural land 15 year ago but recently he expired. Now my friend have all the documents and survey number of the land but he doesn't know the exact location of the land so my query is how can he know the location of such land ( even his family doesn't know the location of land )

You can ask your friend to approach the local land revenue department with an application to survey and fix the boundary stones in the property under the survey number by producing the copy of the document
The survey department will locate the property and will do the needful.

He should contact/ apply to area Tehsildar for survey and demarcate through local patwari, girdawar, kanonungo etc (revenue department).
