Any perventive action that can be taken against false 498a

Respected Sirs / Madams ,

We are married 11 years before and facing some challenges recently ..now staying overseas .. My in-laws family members threating us about false 498a case ...written mail and over phone ...

I do not doubt them as they might even do the same once my wife goes back to India

Anything we can do nefore hand to save me & my parents from the trap of this case from arrest etc ..

Take AB in the case of apprahend of arrest.

File a complaint with the local police in India about the said threats along with the copies of the mails attached to it wherein they have threatened you and your family about false implication in S. 498A case.

Thanks Archana madam for your suggestion .

Please let me know if we get divorce in US (no-fault) and then go to India does that ensure me and my family would be legally safe .no 498a case or any kind of case can be filed by her / her family ...

Also she is planning to run away with her boyfriends after the divorce from US to India to different place ... Does that mean her parents can file any charge against me for not handing over her daugther to them .

Also can she get married so quickly just by the divorce from US...

Please, advise me '
