My wife left me in 2009 without any proper reason and applied for divorce in family court Bangalore. She had sought Rs 2 Crore from the court showing to the court that i am working abroad. I fought the case and family court granted divorce and denied my wife any maintenance as she was well educated B.A., L.L.B. Now she has appealed in the high court and has sought interim maintenance again in High court till case is disposed off in High court.
Is there a provision to apply for interim maintenance when main divorce case is closed in family court and is in appeal procedure in high court?
