Arrear maintenance

Respected Sirs, In CrPC 125 i am paying interim maintenande 2500 per month upto date and no arrear remains in interim.Now the CrPc 125 case is in the order state and a permanent maintenance would be decided on 15 July 2014. So my question is,

- is there be an arrear for permanent maintenance after excluding interim maintenance paid by me from the date of filing the petition.

- My lawyer told me that you have to pay arrear. At what extent he is right?

i appricate your inputs regarding this.

Dear Querist

its depend on the court if court pass an permanent maintenance order with the direction that permanent maintenance will be paid from filing the petition then you have to pay arrears otherwise not.

You may wait for the orders that are to be passed by the court on 14th instant in this regard. Without seeing the order, do not jump into any conclusion and start worrying about which is not there now. You come back to this forum after receiving the order with the details of the same for any further query.
