"I am seeking legal guidance regarding a case involving my sister’s husband. Several legal proceedings have been initiated against him, and I am considering publicizing this information. Here are the details of the situation

Arrest Warrants: A Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) has been issued against him under [mention IPC sections, e.g., 498A, 406, etc.] due to various charges, including domestic violence and criminal breach of trust. Additionally, four arrest warrants have been issued in a maintenance case. However, he is not appearing in court as he resides out of state, and the police are delaying execution of these warrants

Publicizing the Information: Given that the police have not taken any effective action, I am considering making this information public to create awareness. My goal is to ensure that the public is aware of his legal issues, especially regarding the arrest warrants.

My Queries Is it legally safe to publish information about the arrest warrants and business details on a legal forum or public platform like Google Would it be better to contact any specific legal website or news platform for this purpose? If so, which ones would be appropriates If I decide to post this information on a blog or social media platform, are there any potential legal risks, such as defamation or privacy violationsWhat would be the most legal and effective method to publicize this information while avoiding any potential legal complications?

I am looking for expert legal advice to understand whether posting this information publicly is a wise decision and if there are any legal consequences I should be aware of."Key Points in the Draft Clear and neutral tone: The draft is written in a professional and neutral way, ensuring that there is no defamatory language

Publicizing pending criminal cases against a third person in any media could be considered defamatory under Indian law if it harms their reputation.

Publication, in the context of defamation, means communicating the defamatory statement to a third party, not just the person defamed.

However, is not defamation to publish a substantially true report of the proceedings of a Court of Justice, or of the result of any such proceedings.

It is not defamation to convey a caution, in good faith, to one person against another, provided that such caution be intended for the good of the person to whom it is conveyed, or of some person in whom that person is interested, or for the public good.

You may decide based on your situation but any such steps will not fetch you any relief if the legal steps are not followed properly.

The proposed action is unethical. Law presumed any person, even if accused in a criminal offence, to be innocent until proved guilty.
