Attachment to salary

Respected Sir, i am guarantor for Home loan by my friend from one of cooperative bank, he has not paid EMI's and his loan account is under NPA ,Initially I have given undertaking letter to bank regarding deduction of EMI from my salary account. Now bank has sent notice 9Section 49[2]) to my office regarding deduction of EMI from my salary. I was heard that for home loan if any one not paying EMI his home will auctioned and reaming amount will be taken by guarantor. pls guide me
