ONLY WHEN YOU ARE HURT TO THE EXTENT , THAT CAN CAUSE YOUR DEATH, 

Dear Raju,

If you are hurt by some one to the extend, when you fight for your life.  Apart from this you can file a complaint case agaisnt the accused if he hurt you but it will never fall under the category of attempt to murder.
