Being a lecturer in law, i suggest you to go through Shukla's constitutional law book.  For the exact information as to what each article says, it's better to refer Shukla.  For the short and sweet explanation, J.N.Pandey is better.  For jurisprudence, you can refer P.J. Fitzgerald's book.  For IPC,  you can go through Surya Narayan Misra and Sanjay Kumar Misra's book.  For law of Torts, Bhagia book is better.  But if you want to get very good explanation and cases, you can refer Winfield's book.
