If a company is registered in one ROC area say mumbai, then if company wants to open a branch office in another state say Andhra Pradesh , does such branch office also needs separate registration?

A company needs only one Registered office, if you want to open another branch, you need not get it registered again. The first registration will do. Keep a copy of the registration certificate in your every branch.

Branches need not to be registered separately.
