builder has not built sewage plant

Dear all,

I took loan and paid the builder to build an independent house in his society in Jabalpur (MP). The society doesn't have sewage treatment plant, it has underground sewer pipes. And the waste is simply flowing in front of my lane of houses. usually water flowed in to a lake near to the society, now the residents around complained and builder took action and blocked the water to avoid polluting the lake.

now water is stagnating in front of my house and things will get unbearable due go stench of sewage water and as well as I fear it might affect the underground driking water we use.

what legal ways can I pursue to force the build a sewage treatment plant or what could be an amicable solution for this problem

Hello,

Sewage water pipeline has to be installed as per sanctioned plan. You can take legal action against the builder for the installation of the sewage water pipeline and for compensation. Approach consumer forum against the builder.
