Can i build sliding windows on terrace

Hello All,

I stay in Pune, The flat comes in Grampanchayat area. I have a 10x10 Sqft Terrace attached to bedroom, Its been more than 2 years to possession. the society is not formed yet and it is in process. I have already build a roof on the terrace. which is half fixed appled with manglorian tiles and half is sliding with glass top. The terrace has walls on two sides and open from two sides.

Now I would like to take your advice to know if I can put sliding windows on both open sides to cover the terrace?

There is reason that during rainy season one of the doors which opens on terace gets wet. So far I have changed two doors. Hence sliding windows would help me protect doors during rainy season.

Your advice is higly appreciated.

Regards,

1.  IF the Terrace area is classified as compulsory "Open Space" in the building plans (as sanctioned by the Civic Authority,  THEN the terrace cannot be covered and neither sliding windows may be installed, which would mean converting the terrace into a room, thus violating the FSI norms and the MRTP Act.
