I would like to know
1. Whether Basic wages notified under Minimum wages has to be complied for the purpose of EFP or not?
2. Whether an employer can choose to decide the components of minimum wages (Basic+DA) at their own discretion as far as they comply by paying full minimum wages? Do the employer need to match component - to - component for complying with PF Act & Minimum Wages Act?
cViz. As per circular of GLO - minimum wages (Basic + DA) is Rs. 300 per day.
Then can I spit this basic + DA in various parts like -
Basic = Rs. 150/-
HRA = Rs. 75/-
Medical Allowance = Rs. 50/-
Food & Conveyance All= Rs. 25/-
Total = Rs. 300/-
