it is generally not recommended to have an LPG gas cylinder godown (storage facility) in a densely populated area. There are several safety and regulatory reasons for this:

  1. Fire and Explosion Risks: LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is a highly flammable and explosive fuel. In the event of a leak or fire, the proximity to residential or commercial buildings in a densely populated area could lead to catastrophic consequences, putting many lives at risk.
  2. Regulatory Restrictions: Most local building codes and fire safety regulations prohibit the storage of large quantities of hazardous materials like LPG cylinders within densely populated areas. There are typically strict zoning and distance requirements for such facilities to ensure public safety.
  3. Accessibility and Emergency Response: In a densely populated area, the narrow roads and high traffic congestion can hinder the accessibility of emergency services in the event of an incident at the LPG godown. This can significantly impact the ability to respond quickly and effectively.
  4. Environmental Concerns: The storage and handling of LPG cylinders in a densely populated area can also raise environmental concerns, such as the potential for leaks or spills that could contaminate the surrounding air, soil, or water resources.

Instead, LPG gas cylinder godowns are typically located in designated industrial or commercial zones that are away from high-density residential areas. These facilities are designed with appropriate safety measures, emergency response plans, and access to minimize the risks to the surrounding population.

Thank you sir for suggestions

I need clarification regarding

I have land outside my place 3km

5 years back I tried to make petrol pump on this site. And commercial NA with note for petrol pump is approved by DC. Afterwards I dropped the idea of petrol pump.

My question is now on same NA can I use this land for construction of LPG GODOWN

Or any other orders are required
