Cognizable offenses

All offences are not cognizable offences. In the schedule table of Criminal Procedure Code, which is provided at the end of the code, you can find which are cognizable offences and which are not cognizable offences.

Read Criminal Procedure Code book or bare act, only that offences are not cognizable or non cognizable except these offences many other act provide the detail of the offences.

Down load bare Act of Criminal Procedure Code from google and the first schedule is "classification of offences".
