constititional validity of Forest Right Act 2006

As most of u know that the scheduked tribe and other traditional forest dwellers right act 2006 is challenged by several NGOs and individuals in Supremecourt and other Highcourts citing the centre do not have authority to legislate al law on Forest land as it is a state sublect. Several other pleas are also taken by the petitioners.

If any body has any suggestion that the pleas taken by the petitioner is baseless than kindly post ur comments

There are several legislation regarding forest lands. Many people live there for decades. The object of the act needs to be seen.
