The Consumer Forum, Delhi recently in a landmark judgement vide its order dated 28.08.2012 in a matter between Sulakshana Bhattacharya vs Bajaj Allianz Insurance Company had awarded a compensation of Rs.1 lac and instructed the Govt. of India to lodge an FIR against the Managing Director and Chairman of Bajaj and also instructed the Banking Secretary / Revenue Secretary, Ministry of Finance to institute an enquiry into the ghotala thousands of Crores of rupees being cheated by this corporate companies...

Please note it was a matter of just Rs.177/-  recovering illegally from petitioner in name of Govt. taxes and duties.
