Dear Kalyani,
After LL.B the actual education starts.Faculty of Law D.U conducts LL.M 2-3 Years (Regular,Part time) Courses but the seats are very limited and aspirants are high in number
You may do LL.M by distance education if u just want the degree for this you may contact Annamali University, Kurukshetra University, Mahatama Gandhi University etc
As far as govt jobs are concerned motivated lawyer who loves to play challenges don't give priority but for comfortable life and don't want to engage in hectic schedules you may give preference
You can opt for U.P.S.C (CIVIL) SERVICES EXAM AND OPT FOR LAW PAPER
STATE P.CS too conducts exam in your case may be MAH.STAE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION and you may choose law as optional paper
In above all cases you may not have the full opportunity to use the profession but law knowledge may be helpful in making certain decisions
If you are interested in making career in Judicial services you can check the various advertisements for state judicial services examination. As you are staying in Maharastra, normally state p.cs(judicial ) branch is responsible for conducing the said examination
But in delhi Hon'ble High court conducts the examination and seats are very limited
You may even go for higher judicial services for this minimum 7 years of practise may be required
Ceratin PSU are recruting directly as Law officers with LL.B qualification with 2 years experience
Indian Navy too recruit the law graduates with 60% marks
Various corporate groups are training law graduates for recruiting them to LPO,CONSULTANTS ETC
You may go for Post graduate diploma in Intellectual property rights, corpotare law, taxation, cyber laws etc which is conducted by Indian Law institute ,New Delhi and you may contact the distance councils for recognisition

Hello Dear Friends,
URGENT HELP NEEDED IN SERVICE MATTER CASE
It is informed that in case of my brother , he got the job in Sept 2010 and today i.e 5 Mar 2012, he has been given a showcause notice that as the procedure adoted by the then appointing authority was not correct , so as he is in probation period so by giving time of 1 month the department is asking why his job/services must not be end.
Few Points Regarding Case:
1. During the period i.e Sept 2010 to March 2012 (18 Months or 540 Days) , no showcause or any type of intimation letter is served to him. His work is satisfactory.
2. He is under Probation up to August 2012. He gave his 18 mths service to the department.
3. If the procedure adopted was not correct then the appointing authority must be punished not the then Candidate or now employee must be punished.
4. He already has given 18 months of service as Jr Clerk.
5. Now today he crossed his age limit of 28 yrs, so due to this he could not compete in exams now.
Seeking the above points please advice me some good Advocate in service matter in Allahabad High Court.
Urgent reply needed, i am very much depressed and unhappy.
Regards
