Will

My father wishes to prepare a will, what is the method to do it within the frame of law......

How to put up a right will, which cannot be challanged.... and in absolute legal ways......?

Are all wills different with regards to family or property or wishes....?

Is it possible for any one to give the copy or the format of will....?

Dear Dimple

Registered will is better option.

You can register it with help of any lawyer of your city.

There is no will which cannot be challenged in a court of law. Tell your father to get the will drafted by a good lawyer so that the directions incorporated therein survive if and when the will is challenged.

Any will can be challenged. But a Registered witness with two or more arttestors can be proved as Genuine under Section 68 of the Indian Evidence Act

I agree with Advocate Davessar.

Every will is open to challenge.

Don't rely upon these proformas and venture to make a will yourself. Even a single expression in the will can mean life interest instead of absolute interest. Get it drafted by a good lawyer. It is better to spend a few thousands now than to shell out lakhs later on in litigation.

Will must reflect the mind of the Testator
