What does copyrights act 1957 do to help me?

Hi

I run a Blogspot for fun and education purposes. I started it cause, to get rid of opprobrium on me that Im not educated right from school and, what I do is research publications which are unprecedented.

https://yasaswigomes.blogspot.com

What I do here, invent new techniques and publish them. In the end I add Coprighted to Yasaswi Gomes and add the copyright symbol before my name.

It is coprighted content right?

Can anyone claim that my research is theirs? (No one in the world has these kind of findings. I publish what is not there online.)

Regards.

Ok. I'll do it later on after few years. But for now, I published my techniques.

Now, what are the chances that someone like a CA at top level can claim that my techniques work but he already knows it? He doesn't know it for sure cause, did he publish it before me by buying copyrights for his company?

If your work is not copy right protected, then there are very less chance for you to fight against the menace of data theft or wrongful claimof your work by a third person.

You have to take steps to protect your interests.

You can consult an IP law practising lawyer or an agency to know further details.

Copyrights act 1957 inherently protects me without buying it.

But for additional protection I have to buy ©️.

Considering this, my work is already copyrighted.

This is my opinion.

Copyright does not ordinarily protect titles by themselves or names, short word combinations, slogans, short phrases, methods, plots or factual information. Copyright does not protect ideas or concepts. To get the protection of copyright a work must be original.

Copyright law does not protect ideas or concepts; it only protects the way these are expressed in a particular work. It does not protect the underlying idea, concept, discovery, method of operation, principle, procedure, process, or system, regardless of the form in which it is described or embodied in a work. Written instructions or sketches explaining or illustrating a concept or method, however, are protected by copyright.

You are right that a work is automatically protected as soon as it exists, without any special registration, deposit, payment of fee or any other formal requirement.

I wouldn't worry about it. All they will know is nothing. However, I left a program on it. If I delete it off and videos, no one will know the steps. Actually, I was working as an accountant in a factory and one guy called like a dumb guy asking my owner for their business plan. He wanted to know how to start a company etc. By that I already published this method but the taxation was wrong and excel linking was wrong. I understand no one likes to spend consulting charges and no consultant has my technical knowhow cause it took me many weeks daily research. Only, I found a way to crack it step by step by doing simulations repeatedly. So I left it off online for free to anyone. Those techniques will work from pan shop to corporate startups. Anyone can use but not claim it and from all of your advises, that's what a registration protects me from.

Under the Copyrights Act, 1957, your work is automatically protected the moment you create it, meaning your blog posts and techniques are already copyrighted as long as they are original. However, this protection only covers the way your ideas are expressed (like written content or diagrams), not the techniques or methods themselves. Adding a copyright notice (©️ Yasaswi Gomes) helps show ownership but isn't legally required. Registering your work, though not mandatory, strengthens your protection by acting as official proof of ownership and making it easier to take legal action if someone copies or claims your work. Registration is affordable in India (₹500 for literary works) and worth considering if you want added security, especially as your techniques gain visibility. Keep records of your work, publish strategically, and consult an IP expert for guidance if needed.
