What legal recourse can I take if the Zonal Office at the Corporation of Chennai is not encashing my property tax cheques since 2008 even though I am paying the correct amount? My property tax has not been revised and I have the correct annual value obtained under the RTI act from the office in December 2010. No action has been taken even though I have placed complaints with the Commissioner both written and lodged on their website.
