  Some documents were asked for through RTI act to the SPIO of the Bank. Those documents were in relation to a chargesheet issued to an employee (officer).But the concerned bank reported that those documents were destroyed in a fire .Since those documents are related to the officer employee's C/S matter,  so he is the person directly affected and those docs are reported not found due to fire,in that case is it possible for the employee to lodge FIR against SPIO/ bank UNDER IPC 204 ( for destruction of public docs),IPC 425, 426(mischief).

No information to police was made.So how a conclusion can be arrived! being a custodian of public property bank should have reported the matter to police, and after proper investigation by police fact could come out.

bank has admitted about the fire in the RTI document, but can not say whether it was deliberate or not!
