Daughter's right in ancestral property

Hi,

I'm 55 year old married woman. My ancestor had 2 acres of land in hassan (karnataka). And it was not in my fathers name(registered to one of the joint family member). My father died 2 months before my brother was born. Later the land was partitioned but not registered. In 1999 my brother registered the land to his name directly from joint family member's name (the join family member was also dead by that time) without my signature. Please let me know whether I can get my share in that land now.

Thanks
