Deserter from indian air force

hello to all experts ,, can you please tell me that for how long indian air force will trace the deserter,, what if a person leaves the country

ANY ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL DECLARED AS A DESERTER, AN ABSCONDING AND WANTED PERSON TILL ALTERNATIVE ORDERS PRONOUNCED BY COMPETENT AUTHORIZED OFFICIAL,OR ELSE IT WILL CONTINUE LIFE LONG OR SURRENDER BEFORE POLICE LOOK OUT NOTICE ARE GENERALLY DONE, BUT

Desertion is a criminal offence, hence there is no element of limitation. The accused is liable all through his lifetime.

in the air force act 1950, it is written that if a person get deserted not on active service, and he is not an officer, and also he didnt have any red ink entry in his records within last 3 year,, than the service will discharge him after 3 years,, can the experts put some light on this
