Divorced from a mental wife

I got married in January 2011.I love my wife very much.We have a son of 8 month. The problem is her temperament. She gets angry at anything and everything. She crossed all limit when her mother called us to visit her place, and i wanted to postpone the visit by a week. She remained silent for a while and suddenly run towards the pond and jumped in to commit suicide. I followed her,and with lots of effort i saved her.She took to the bed the whole day till her mother came. In the mean time my mother took our baby to her in the hope of deviating her mind. But she kicked my mother. She is already suffering from back pain, and the kick has added to that. After the arrival of my mother in law,my wife got up from bad, and started using abusive language towards me and my mother. I was shocked at her behaviour. She appeared to me a stranger.

I dont want to divorce her. But affraid  what would happen if she does it again? She is now staying with her parents. She doesnt receive my calls easily. She picked up my calls only thrice in last 1 month.I always remain anxious about my son and her health. My in-laws also dont call me.They seem to holding me responsible for everything. It seems she wants divorce. Please help me with your valuable advice.

Please help me with suitable advice.

it seems from your averments that it is not safe that you may live happily with your wife as she developed suicidal tendencies involving you and your family in false cases. It much better you must thought of next step i.e. divorcing her and get remarried again and looking for bright future

@ Author,

1. Collect all the evidence before you depart of divorce from your end(as you have good ground of mental cruelity).

2. If you have any doubt in marriage then do have a marriage councellors help as you are not alone you are having a child with you.

3. If you want your marriage to be there fille RCR before her 498a or other cases.

4. If you are totally fed up and want a new life go ahead filling a divorce under family court citing the cause of mental cruelity and desertion done by your wife against so many efforts to call her.(needs a strong evidence of mental cruelity).

5. Before filling a divorce pettition talk to her what she want,if not interested then give MCD or else ready for contested divorce.

Go and meet your wife... have patience... seek  help of professional family psychologist... have individual and joint counselling sessions for some months also tryto involve your mother in law for counselling.. it will surely help..later, decide the further course..give it a try if you love your wife..
