Duration of employment in reliving letter

Hi All,

Just a small clarification if a female employee doesn't return to work after her maternity leave. What solutions she has?
Also, if she resignes will her
experience letter include the duration of leave as well.
Experts please comment.

You can send letter to her address asking for reason for absent and leave period is part of service

in addition to the above question if a employee has availed the maternity leave and extended loss of pay leave also as per the new regulations.
still she is unable to rejoin because of certain circumstances.
in such situation can she resign from her job.
what are the possible actions an employer can take against such employee.
experts please comment.
