I hope the following information will be helpful to all. As per the amendment of rule 52 of the ESI (Central) rules, 1950 - THE AVERAGE DAILY WAGE LIMIT FOR EXEMPTIMG THE EMPLOYEES FROM PAYMENT OF EMPLOYEES SHARE OF CONTRIBUTION HAS BEEN INCREASED FROM RS 50/- TO RS 70/- w.e.f 01-08-2007.
