False statments in appeal and revision petition

 It is a criminal offence under sections 181, 191, 196 and 199 of IPC, 1860 to make false statements / false declarations in one’s pleadings or filing false Affidavit or knowingly giving a false evidence (OFFENCES OF PERJURY) or filing forged document in the evidence before the Court of law.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Can you please disclose any citation wherein Petitioner is held responsible for making false statement in Appeal and Revision petition. I heard that in Appeal Appellant has priviledge of accused. Kindly reply at the earliest.
