am an NRI.. has only a copy of my birth certificate ,born in chennai,india..i was born in late 70s
need to appy for orignial. also, get the initials updated on my birth certificate.
was told that this needs to be done using a lawyer..were there any publication process need for this?
or can i directly apply for this at the ribbon bulding by myself
if i had to hire a lwyer for this process, what would be thre reasonable fee.i understand the fees varies by lawyer and his reputatin, but just a reasonable quote is what i am looking for.
