     With reference to the above,the applicant    seeks    pointwise
information:
Period of Information: from 1988
                 (1). Information of the acceptance of law commission
report No.126th
In respect of  guidelines for public sector undertakings to eschew
litigation with  their employees.
                     (2). Information of the applicability of the
recommendations contained in the above report of Law Commission of
India to public sector insurance companies,that is,the following
undertakings of Govt of India functioning under the Ministry of
Finance,Department of Financial Services,New Delhi.:-
(a) Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd
(b) National Insurance Co. Ltd
(c) United India Insurance Co. Ltd
(d) The New India Assurance Co . Ltd
                     (3). Information of the measures undertaken by
the  Ministry of Law and Justice to ensure that the guidelines
contained in the above report are implemented by the Public Sector
Undertakings.

During the last 7 years as RTI applicant  I found the LIC one of the most responsive public authorities.

besides GIC,CBI,Rajbhasha vibhag -Ministry of Home Affairs.

 

It was a deliberate move to keep the CBI out of purview of RTI act to stop whisle blowing against corruption in putlbic life that continues unabated.

 

The CPIO of LIC immediately communicated me by email that the RTI application attached was not addressed to LIC.,

consequently the correct RTI application has been communicated to the LIC.
