Grandfathers property

Hi My husband's grandparents had earned properties and land in their hometown which are probably registered in my father in laws name. Father in law has not earned a single penny in his life and inherited land from his father. Can my husband claim his share on his grandfathers property without his fathers interference as father has not earned it and is alive still?

Listen first of all since the property is ancestral, you have a right to it by birth and the same right over it as your brothers. And therefore, no one can deprive you of your rights or interest in ancestral property, not even your parents.

Therefore, your father-in-law cannot interfere or deprive your husband from his right in his Ancestral Property. So Yes, your husband can take his share in his Ancestral Property without any interference from anyone.

I'm leaving the link for more input on Ancestral Property, do take a look -
