Dear Sir/Madam,
My tenant informed me on 31 st December 2014 that he is going to vacate the house on January 10th 2015 and he needed the advance Rs ( 50,000) . I gave him 10,000 Rs on 15th january 2015 and told hime that i will give the remaining on March 5th 2015 and he vacated the house by 21.01.2015
As he as my close friend relative we did not have an agreement and everything was in oral . We clearly told him to inform before 3 months in case he is going to vacate the house. The rent per month is 5500. He came on 15.08.2013 and vacated on 21.01.2015.
We even white washed the house and gave him in good condition .
He wants the remaining 40,000 and he argues with me that i should not deduct the january rent (5500)and septic tank cleaning (1500) charges nor the paint charges ( 6000) .
He argues with me that we did not mention the terms and he wont give the paint and septic tank charges and states that he has informed me in advance ( 11days time).
Is this right Please help me to sort out this issue.
