Dear Lawyers, When exactly a land gets marked as Poramboke (or) Government Land ? What are the clauses behind that ?
My father applied for patta (in my name, when I was minor & with Guardian as my mother) for a piece of land 24 years back. However there isn;t any other document apart from the patta. Today, I checked with the Tamil Nadu Land Survey portal & verified the patta is still in my name.
I would like to know...
1) Since there has not been any action on the land for more than two decades, will it be considered to be moved to Poramboke Land ?
