How can we get salary last 5 months from govt. of punjab

Respected sir,

We are 7500 computer teachers in Govt. Schools of Punjab for providing computer education to students. We worked 6 years on contract . But Our services are regularized from 1.7.2011 as computer faculty equal to the grade of vocational masters by Punjab Govt. Under ICT education department of Punjab. We got only two salaries (july 2011 and August 2011 ) after regular . Now our 5 months salary is due but not paid by the Govt. Of Punjab . Pls suggest us how can we got our pending salary and our status from Govt. of punjab. Is their any law or way to got this easily . Pls suggest us as soon as possible.

1. Engage an advocate.

2. File a writ petition in High Court as not paying your wages amount to infringing your fundamental right to life and also violation of statutory right.

3. Alternatively, if State Administrative Tribunal is there, there also, application lies. But, my suggestion is to file writ in High Court.

4 A similar situation arose in the case of Bihar teachers, Supreme Court intervened and gave them the relief.

Plese consult the RR of the post. Please also seek copies of noting and correspondence going on between your deptt and AG office regarding rrelease of salary, by using RTI. Then you may get grounds to mov eto court.
