Russell Brand- Katy Perry Set Down Marriage Rules!
Here is one couple who is ready to go that extra mile to make their marriage work. In Hollywood, where marriages break at the drop of a hat, newlyweds Russell Brand and Katy Perry have decided to make an effort to make the wedding blissful and everlasting.
Whose footsteps are they going to follow? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is an example for this young couple.
Brand and Perry, who tied the knot in India last month, have set some ground rules for making their marriage a success. As the first rule they possess a GBP 1.8 million apartment in New York. They wanted their house to be at such a location from where both can commute easily during their busy schedule. Brand, a television and film actor, has to travel to London for his work while Perry, the pop star, has to be in Los Angeles. Their New York apartment will prevent them from sleeping apart for more than seven days.
They couple has agreed to call up one another every night before 11p.m. and will not go clubbing in the absence of the partner. Brand and Perry promised to have a baby in a year.
According to their rule book, the couple has to see each other at least once a week and consult their relationship therapist weekly. No "saucy magazines" and alcohol will enter the house. Katy has promised that she will learn how to cook breakfast for her husband every Sunday.
Well, the challenge is tough and the couple is determined. We can only wish them luck.
