I am on a third party payroll with eg XYZ company. But deployed at ABC. I'm 8 months pregnant and same was communicated to both the parties in the month of May 2022. At the moment ABC says that my contract is ending on 21st October which is the date I'll be going on maternity leave. I wasn't informed about my end of contract nor it is mentioned on the offer letter that it is a 6 or 12 month contract as it was said to me it's an ongoing contract. In such scenario who is gonna pay me my maternity benefits?? ABC or XYZ. Will they pay me even if the contract ends just the day I'll be going on leave ?? Can a pregnant women be treated this way ?? As per the law I'm eligible for the benefits right ?
