Dear Legal experts,
I am thankful for providing this forum to discuss and share legal matters between legal fraternity. In the present scenario, the banking industry except SBI does not cover insurance (like group insurance) and PF to its employees. In case of any contingency, the social security of these workmen is at risk. Therefore, I request the forum to deliberate upon whether the Employee Compensation Act 1923 can be made applicable in this banking sector and some sort of social security may be provided. Similarly, the banking industry is having more number of employees, still PF contribution is not there. Can EPF and Misc Provision Act, 1952 be made applicable in banking inddustry.
Thanking You,
Regards,
