Interim maintenance - pls help urgent

Dear All LCI, 

My self victim of 498a/406/506/125/divorce.

But main thing is family court in 125 has ordered about maintenance of 3500( 7% of  my salary) rs per month.she is graduate and i have her working exp letter.Currently she is not working.

Kindly help me to dismiss interim.Is there any chance for the same..

Is there any possibility.Or it is compulsory to pay.Kindly advise me.

For same i have filled - 126 in HC Chandigarh.

To get it dismissed, you will have to prove you there is no willful negligence to maintain your wife.

ILM Parents: Many times I have told in LCI...


When  it comes to interim maintenance, all aspects are taken into consideration before passing the IA order.


1.  Wife's income [with proof]

2.  HER education, her property etc.


Now that some IA has been ordered, its just IA, even if you go to the honorable High Court, they will dismiss your appeal.



As it is just IA, not permanent alimony. So what I would suggest you is, get hold of your lawyer, and get the case finished off fast.  Or else you will only keep roaming to courts for readjudication of alimony already ordered [each year].
