Gud afternoon to all Sir I want to know whether filing protest Petition is an essential requisite for filing writ petition.

Hi! Please note, a protest petition and a writ petition are two very different things. A writ petition can only be filed in the High Court or the Supreme Court of India. Filing a protest petition is NOT a necessary requisite for filing of a writ petition.
