Labour law

Pvt. Ltd Co. where I am working change working hour from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm - this include .15 min Luch time.  ( from Monday to Saturday - only Sunday Closed), also start deducting for late mark & Absents, also there no  leave & No leave hand cashment or festival  holiday, so pl give advice for total working hour of week, minimum no. of  Days for leave in year I suppose to get as rightful,

If it is an establishment falling under SE Act you may go thru Se Act applicable to your state. You can obtain it from  Dept. of Labor website of your state or market.

You shall get all the details.

Generally under Shop& Estt Act, the establishments can work for 9am - 6pm with a lunch break of 1 hr. from Monday to Saturday. On an average employees are entitled for 9 national & festival holidays in a year subject to state rules. Also employees are entitled for 12 CL & 12 SL in first year on prorata basis from their date of joining and from 2nd year onwards 12 earned leave also.

Pls refer the concerned states rules, the above is general for S&E Act.
