Land dispute (urgent advice needed)

Hi,

I would like to have your advice on our land issue.

A land owned by 8 different members is being illegally occupied by the other person with his son. The land was registered by my grandfather (fathers side) to my mother's name which got to us from their fathers/grandfathers. and so with the rest of the members. On the above land we have all proofs to show that its ours (patta, pahani... etc).

This land was not cultivated after my father moved out of the village for his job, a long back and even the other members dint cultivate that often.

A few years back the other person who has a part of land beside above land, stated claiming it as his. When we objected it... they threatened us, so we all moved to court and got stay in our favour.

And from then we started farming the land and now this is being repeatedly damaged by the other person whenever we sow something.  A few weeks back the other person bought some 15-20 people and started cultivating this, and none of the ones who stay in village ( feared ) or we could object this as we stay about 100 km away (AND they never do anything when my dad stays there). So we disturbed that and re-cultivated it.

Now this process is being repeated too often... and they don't care as they manage this all, as his son knows some people an uses his influence from friends or relatives who know/work with a leader.

We have been around PS, MRO offices and courts, from last few years. Everyone says we own it and we can cultivate it or do whatever. But we are unable to really cultivate it or sell this.

A friend says write a letter each to SP and Collector, if I need to write one how to I present this as it is owned by 8 members in parts.

Now I want to end this once for all, so what do I need to do. Kindly advice me how to proceed. Thanks
