I am from Andhra Pradesh. I have query regarding the change of Pattadar passbook ownership.
If a person (Mother) dies can the Son change the photo and overwrite the name on the passbook to put his photo and name. If it is legally, what is the procedure? Can he use this as a valid passbook to make entries in future.
One of my relatives has done that to grab our land. I think it is illegal but want to know which sections are violated and what is the procedure to get it cancelled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
