Legalisation of non agricultural land

 

There  is  a  cultivating  land in possession  of  an  individual;   It  is  an ancestral  property;  It  is  under    own 

cultivation;  There  is  a  small piece  of  non cultivating  land  adjacent  to the  cultivating  land;  It  is not 

owned  by  the  individual;  But, it  is  exclusively  being used  by  the  individual and forefathers  for  more 

than  seventy  years for  separating  paddy  from  the crop,  etc;;  It  is  under  the  individual's control  and 

maintenance;    It is   situated  in  Podicherry  state;                                                                                                                                

Your  guidance  is  requested  to  legalise  the  possession  right  of  the  non cultivating  land  which  is 

exclusively used  for  more  than  seventy  years.

Sathick,

Pl check with the distric survey office on the nature of the layout of the said land. If it is poramboke land, then nothing can be done about it or you can go for a declaration of title on the said land.
