Hello Respected Experts,
My Grandfather made a gift deed of a Flat in the name of my aunt 3 yrs ago before he passed away last year.
The big question- my aunt is unable to find the gift deed document,Because she wants to sell the flat to the builder for reconstruction, now that my grandfather has passed away.I guess it is lost. The gift deed was registered.
Is it sounding trouble?what can we do?

you may go to the registrar office and apply for a copy of the Registered gift deed.
This would solve your problem. you may also require to file an FIRfor the lost gift deed.

First u got a copy of the said document from registrar office and veryfy present owner name,after you can given an paper publication for lost of document details,then you can file a complaint along with publication to police.
