Hi,
We got married in 2002 and ours is a Love marriage. I have a receipt from the temple where we got married but the names are in Telugu. Now I want to apply for Passport for my wife. How to get the marriage certificate?
I am from AP but we got married in a different town. Where to get the certificate?

when you live now, you can file an application before Ragistrar of marriage and get certificate.

The Sub-Registrar Office will issue the marriage certificate. approch the SRO with address proof, Photo ID proof and proof of marriage like photograph, letter/receipt from the temple, latest photographs.
On payment of nominal fees the marriage will be registered and certificate will be issued.
