maintenaince to seperated wife by a jobless husband

Jobless doesn't always means no source of income or no means to maintain oneself. A person who is jobless can be having bank balance, property out of which income can be made and other means to maintain oneself. Husband or father who is jobless is in litigation for last 3 years for divorce proceedings and is able to pay for the litigation expenses can even pay for his separated wife and child. The wife if has means to maintain herself will not be allowed any maintenance but for minor child the father is supposed to provide for child support.

Even if the husband is jobless, he would not be absolved from his liability to maintain his wife and child.

One of the judgement by hon'ble high court of panjab and haryana says if husband has to steal ,steal but pay mntnc... There is no escape dear querier...

Do u think marriage is joke one europian has said court is just like rat cage it is easy to go but u cannot come back easily.
