My brother in law had purchased a new car in Kerala a few years back.When he was transfered 4 years before, he promptly obtained NOC from RTO for Chennai.At Chennai he was mis guided by someone that re-registration at Chennai was not required since he is a Central Govet. employee.Now he is transfered to Mumbai and now he realised that for bringing the car and registering at Mumbai, he need NOC from Chennai.Because of this he is not knowing wether he required to cancel the NOC issued by Kerala and obtain a fresh NOC from Chennai after properly registering the car at Chennai or directly obtain a fresh NOC from Keralato Mumbai. Kindly advice how the issue is resolved.
