Motor accident

My Parents were met with an accident, in which my Mother suffered severe head injury and died after 2 days of treatment. The car was driven by our driver and he said that he was trying to save an animal when he crashed the car into the tree. He has a valid DL. Tha car is owned by my father and is fully insured (first party)

The FIR was launched mentioning the same.

Need advice on how to claim for the insurance and how much can we expect.
