Notice in newspapers

My aunt and cousin sister ( elder aunt's daughter) are giving notices in the local newspapers and have been verbally telling people that the land owned by my mother, sister and me is disputed and that they have a 33% share in it. The property was bought by my great grandfather who gave it to his only son ( my grandfather) thru a will. In 1965 my granfather divided this property between him, my grandmother and my father thru a registered deed. After my father died in 1998, his share was transferred to my mother, brother , sister and my name. My grandmother sold off her share of the property. My bother died in Dec'12 and now we would like to sell this property. My aunt is now claiming share and is putting out notices in the newspaper. Can we send her a notice in the newspaper asking her to prove her claim? she says that she will take us to court and ensure that this case remains pending atleast for 6-7 years till we agree to the settlement as per her terms.

Contact an Advocate and give reply through News paper and also send suitable reply to your aunt or the Advocate who gave paper notices on her behalf.
