Opening of bank account

We are a newly incorporated private limited company. Can the bank account of the company be opened in another city? For example, if the registered office of the company is in Mumbai, can the bank account be opening in Pune?

It has already been done, actually the registered office of the company is in a city and the resort which is created as a private limited company is in another place and the bank account has already been opened there. Is there any problem for the bank account being in a different city? There won't be any  hurdles for the working process of the company or its employees.

No there its not a problem, as i learnt from your query  your company is engage in business of resort / hotel industry which is registered as pvt ltd company as your business transaction and your relationship with the bank is important to carry on your business if everything is fine then there is no problem

As most of the  Banks have introduced CBS facility you may not face any major problem in your transactions.
