i had take a loan of 1,50,000/- from UCO Bank 2007 and paid about 1 lac to the bank ...till 2010 on emi basis ,after that i had lost my job and i went into lots of problems where i could not pay the balance......Myself and my friend who had stood as gaurantor recieved a legal notice in the yearr 2015 to pay 3,64,000/- towards outstanding amount of loan what i had taken...i had to contest it as i was not able to pay the amount.I lost the case in the court .I want clear the loan but the bank but i need time of to do so ....
My question is can i file a petition in court asking for time for repayment now.
and can i ask bank to reduce the amount to be paid.
